Here are some Lombard updates from the beginning of the year: • Additions to the website include Middle School Years link for parents • All staff email addresses are in the team’s folders. You can access emails by double clicking on the name • DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS AND SCHEDULE ARE POSTED UNDER “Going for Gold” READING at the CROSSROADS II Three authors will be coming to Galesburg this school year. In preparation, students are reading the three books, funded by grants such as the Galesburg Foundation, beginning with Sahara Special. Teachers are planning many activities that: • Promote reading and writing across the curriculum and throughout the community • Make learning relevant to our students and their families while respecting the diversity of our community • Value and inspire students by showcasing their work in various media formats and • Encourage community-wide dialogue Esme Codell – Sahara Special Coming to Lombard November 19th, Churchill Nov. 18th with A community event in the Churchill Auditorium 7:00 pm Sarah Weeks – So B.
