On March 12, Lombard Middle School’s 5th grade students brought history to life during their annual Wax Museum event. After weeks of preparation, students transformed into influential historical figures and shared their learning with families, staff, and fellow students.
Each student researched an individual who made a meaningful impact on the world, learning about their life, accomplishments, and contributions to society. Students then created presentations and dressed in costume to represent their historical figure, truly stepping into the role for the evening.
During the event, visitors walked through the “museum” and interacted with the students, who shared facts, stories, and key accomplishments of the figures they portrayed. From leaders and innovators to activists and trailblazers, the Wax Museum highlighted a wide range of individuals who shaped history.
We are incredibly proud of our 5th grade Zephyrs for the effort they put into their research and presentations. Their confidence, creativity, and enthusiasm made the Wax Museum a memorable experience for everyone who attended.
