Course Description: Similar to CSI I this course is designed to assist with distribution, troubleshooting, and use of school-issued chromebooks. The student must create an independent study project to work on and complete throughout the run time of the class. Students work independently or in small groups. Example certifications may include the following: Cisco Certified Network Associate, CompTIAA A+ Technician, Network+, CISSP, Cyber Security or other approved certification or self paced curriculum.

Expected Outcomes:

Students will build upon their previous knowledge of computer repair to deepen their understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting techniques
Students will demonstrate mastery in inventory management and distribution of technology resources, with an emphasis on efficient and effective management of technology
Students will apply critical thinking skills to solve complex problems and develop effective solutions for students and teachers
Students will be able to communicate effectively with peers, faculty, and IT professionals to resolve technology issues
Students will develop and execute an independent study project related to computer repair or technology, demonstrating their ability to work independently and/or in small groups
Students will complete at least one advanced industry-recognized certification or self-paced curriculum to demonstrate mastery in a specific area of computer repair or technology
Students will develop workplace skills such as time management, organization, and collaboration while working independently or in small groups
Students will understand the importance of data privacy, security, and responsible use of technology in the digital age
Students will be able to apply their advanced knowledge and skills to future academic and career pursuits in technology-related fields
Students will have the option to repeat the course for additional credit and further their mastery of computer repair and technology
