The Marching Streaks competed in the Normal Marching Band Invitational at Illinois Wesleyan University this past weekend. The band placed second in class 5A to first place finishers, Bloomington High School. The Marching Streaks also won best percussion and placed 2nd overall out of 15 bands for the day. The Marching Streaks recently had their first competition at the Washington Panther Marching Invitational at Washington Community High School. The band placed first in class G over Bloomington. They also won best percussion and best colorguard. The band was 3rd overall out of 26 bands. #StreaksNation
The Junior High Cheer squad participated in a Stunt Camp this past weekend led by Aaron Crouse. They learned cheers, stunts, a short routine and participated in team building activities during the camp to help prepare for their upcoming cheer season. #StreaksNation
