Galesburg CUSD #205 will return to full time, in-person instruction on Monday, February 22, 2021. Some students have selected the option to remain virtual and will continue their instruction online. 

All students and families are required to read the COVID-19 Procedure Agreement prior to returning to in-person instruction. Click here to access the agreement. 

My student is in-person but will not be in attendance, who do I call? Please call your child's school to report their absence. They will still have the ability to join their class remotely while they are out. 
My student is virtual but will not be in attendance, who do I call? Please call your child's school to report their absence if they will not be participating virtually. 
What supplies are needed for in-person instruction? Students will need their district-issued Chromebook and Case. Students will also be required to bring and wear a face mask each day (See below for more information). We also encourage you to send your student with headphones/earbuds for designated instruction in the classroom. 
Can my student bring their lunch to school? Yes. Students can bring a sack lunch from home. Students will also have the option to receive a school provided lunch. 
Can I pick up a lunch for my student who is receiving virtual instruction? Yes. Meal pick up will be held Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Galesburg High School (West Circle Drive) on days when school is in session. 
Will students that are attending in-person instruction be required to be on Google Meets during the day?No. While students are required to bring their Chromebooks, they will not be required to join the Google Meet while they are attending in-person instruction. 
Does my student have to wear a face covering? Yes. All students and staff are required to wear a face covering. Please see the Student and Staff Safety Protocol for specific information, including exceptions for when a student is eating lunch. You can view the protocol by clicking here
Who can I contact if my student needs Chromebook or technology support? Please contact your student's school to report Chromebook and technology issues.
