This holiday season, the Lombard Middle School student council demonstrated incredible spirit by organizing a canned food drive to support those in need within our community. Together, they gathered an impressive 321 pounds of food and made cash donations to support the FISH food pantry. A special shoutout goes to Mrs. Young's 5th-grade class, who contributed a whopping 194 items and took home the title of winning classroom for their grade! Hy-Vee on Henderson Street and Main Street generously distributed 700 hams to families in the Galesburg area yesterday during a ham pick-up event held on the Galesburg Junior/Senior High campus. Student groups, Rotary Interact and Key Club, assisted Hy-Vee staff with distribution activities. The frigid temperatures did not deter our students and staff from helping make this a successful event. We are proud to be able to partner with area companies like Hy-Vee who are helping to spread holiday cheer in the community. #Thisis205

Dr. Asplund and Mindi Ritchie reflect on the past days and share information about the upcoming visitation and funeral, which will take place at Galesburg Junior Senior High School on Sunday, December 7th. This event honors the incredible legacy of Jordan Ball, a beloved teacher and coach who made a lasting impact on our community.
